For anyone coming to the Clerk's Office or any other office they must wear a mask to come in to the Town Hall and at all times in the office. Thank you.

The Clerk's Office now accepts credit cards.  You can pay taxes, hunting licenses, and all other needs in the office with your credit and/or debit card.

** PLEASE NOTE
The Town Clerk cannot accept either the Franklinville or Cuba School District tax bills and you have to go to or send a check to the place indicated on the tax bill.
The Town of Lyndon can now process hunting and fishing licenses

     Tax Collection

  • Tax bills go out in late December for the following year
  • Taxes paid in January accrue no interest
  • Taxes paid in February include a 1% penalty
  • Taxes paid in March include a 2% penalty
  • After March 31st, taxes cannot be collected locally and must be sent to the County​
  • Checks must be for the exact amount due
  • The tax collector cannot accept partial payments
  • Payments by mail will be entered as of the postmark date
